The Necreaux Story
Five horror-loving friends came together one day and asked the question: “Why don’t we have a way to celebrate and share the Louisiana Horror stories we love, and come together as a community?” Necreaux was their answer!
Our Mission
Necreaux is a 501c3 non-profit organization that celebrates Louisiana Horror traditions.
Our Vision
We believe that the rich and diverse stories and myths that comprise the Louisiana Horror tradition should be celebrated and appreciated for their impact on the greater popular culture in both Louisiana and across the nation.
Our Goals
- Establish, operate, and promote an annual convention, NecroComicCon, that celebrates the Louisiana Horror traditions and their greater pop-culture context while bringing tourism to the Baton Rouge area.
- Preserve and beautify historic cemeteries in the greater Baton Rouge area.
